The business is run and owned by Frank Smart and Frank has hand-picked not only ‘experienced property people’ but local people who are personally experienced with moving home therefore better equipped to fully understand the needs of the clients. Frank is one of 6 members of the team who combined offer over 70 years experience in the property business.

Frank has been working in the estate agency industry for over 16 years and along the way has gained invaluable experience from working in varying locations in changeable market conditions. Frank started his career selling homes in Newmarket and Cambridge and during the mid to late 1990’s established himself in Cambridge itself. Since 2001 Frank was involved in opening new estate agency offices in both Ely and Newmarket, with astonishing success, and more recently making a return to Cambridge working for the city’s largest estate agency, prior to opening Smart residential in 2008.

Regardless of the challenging market conditions since 2008 the agency has not only survived but expanded and developed to become one of Newmarket’s most prominent estate agency firms, for both sales and lettings. Frank believes the secret behind the success is maintaining core values of service, honesty and integrity, combined with extensive experience and the tools enabling the firm to offer clients something competitors cannot.
